The stable is renowned for its patience in allowing young horses to develop to potential.  Every horse is handled each day by the trainers, not just the staff, and every horse is given the best possible chance of being a success.

Purcell Racing Services

Training
Jean and Bruce are experienced, professional and successful trainers with a broad knowledge of the thoroughbred.  They are committed to their work and endeavor to produce the best results whilst maintaining their values and etiquette.

Agisting
Agisting services of horses are offered through Oakhill Lodge.

Communication  
Communication is important to Bruce and Jean and they welcome any queries.  Both Bruce and Jean are a friendly team who are happy to answer any questions.  As with their horses, they respect their owners and keep them informed on their horses’ progress.  

This interactive web site provides the latest information on the activities of each horse in their care as well as a private communication page.

Yearlings
Bruce and Jean regularly attend major yearling sales and are available to inspect and advise on the purchase of yearlings.  With their years of breeding experience, they have the background and the knowledge to provide excellent advice.

Well Being of Our Horses
Every horse is treated as an individual and are handled with the up most of care.

We have excellent local vets, dentists, farriers, equine physiotherapists, and stockfeed companies, all within close proximity.
