Oakhill Lodge at Devon Meadows, Victoria, is home to Purcell Racing, offering a combination of experienced and successful trainers, a relaxing, rural environment and 'one on one' care of horses and owners.

At Purcell Racing, it has been our experience that horses do best in a rural environment and Oakhill Lodge offers just that: a well-laid out country stable, with relaxing yards and boxes, turnout paddocks and a two mile sand track for horses to work on.   With Cranbourne training track only 10 minutes away, horses trained at Oakhill Lodge have easy access to the world-class facilities offered there. 

Both Jean and Bruce Purcell are trainers who have experienced success at the highest level, and both are totally professional, having a deep love and understanding of horses and leaving nothing to chance.

Winners are Grinners
Congratulations to all the owners of Double Thunder who won at Bendigo last Saturday.  He's never to far away in his runs and never seems to have much luck so it was lovely to see him win. In our morning track update report we did think that he'd go close to winning so hopefully all his owners took our advice and had a little something on him at the $12.
