Oakhill Lodge at Devon Meadows, Victoria, is home to Purcell Racing, offering a combination of experienced and successful trainers, a relaxing, rural environment and 'one on one' care of horses and owners.

At Purcell Racing, it has been our experience that horses do best in a rural environment and Oakhill Lodge offers just that: a well-laid out country stable, with relaxing yards and boxes, turnout paddocks and a two mile sand track for horses to work on.   With Cranbourne training track only 10 minutes away, horses trained at Oakhill Lodge have easy access to the world-class facilities offered there. 

Both Jean and Bruce Purcell are trainers who have experienced success at the highest level, and both are totally professional, having a deep love and understanding of horses and leaving nothing to chance.

il Sogno just like her mummy Tickle My
What a delightful & exciting win by IL Sogno today at Sandown over 1300m. She is so much like her mother this horse. Also a pick up ride & first Melbourne win for Talia Rodder from Israel. This little beauty has now scored her 2nd win this prep well done to all involved.
